Free Phone Consultation

Before arranging any appointments, we always offer a free phone consultation to discuss your child's needs. We will explain our services to you, talk through your child's current communication skills and any concerns that you might have.

Initial Assessment £110

An initial assessment will help us to identify areas of your child's speech and language development where they may need some specialist support or therapy. This appointment will last between 60 and 90 minutes and includes a discussion with you about your child's communication skills. We will then assess your child to give you our specialist view about your child's speech and language development. This assessment may be through formal or informal play-based assessments, or a combination of both. We work hard to make this assessment fun for your child whilst providing detailed and accurate information. From this we can give you preliminary recommendations and advice. A hand-written, personalised summary of your child’s strengths, needs and preliminary recommendations will be provided at the appointment. If required, a summary report or a full report can be provided at an additional cost.

Therapy Session £70

Therapy sessions will usually take place at your child's home and typically last between 45 minutes and one hour. We will provide activities, ideas and resources at the end of each appointment to enable you to continue the therapy in between sessions.

School or Nursery Visit £70

This may include further assessment, working with your child, liaising with your child's teacher or providing advice and support for up to an hour. It is good practice to ensure your child's teacher knows how to best support your child in school, but we would always discuss this with you first.

Reports and Treatment Programmes £50 per hour

Full reports or detailed treatment programmes following an assessment are charged in respect to the total time taken to prepare them.

All prices are inclusive of travel within a 5 mile radius of Heaton Chapel, Stockport. Any additional mileage will be charged at 50p per mile.

Payments can be made by direct bank transfer.
